VISTA BEACH LAKE ESCAPE

Set along the shores of Lake Huron, Vista Beach Lake Escape is a welcoming four-bedroom cottage located just minutes from both Grand Bend and Bayfield, near the charming lakeside community of St. Joseph’s. Designed for families and groups to gather, reconnect, and enjoy life by the water, this cottage blends comfort, nature, and classic lake-life charm.

The property features a beautiful wrap-around deck and a tree-lined yard that offers both sun and shade throughout the day — perfect for morning coffee, afternoon lounging, and evening conversations. As the sun sets over Lake Huron, the firepit becomes a natural gathering place, where stories are shared, marshmallows are roasted, and lifelong memories are made.

Inside, the cottage is thoughtfully equipped for relaxed, easy living. The full-service kitchen, BBQ, and firepit make meals simple and enjoyable, whether you’re cooking for a crowd or keeping things casual. Air conditioning, a natural gas fireplace, complimentary Wi-Fi, and on-site laundry ensure comfort and convenience in every season. Recent interior updates highlight the cozy fireplace and the cottage’s unique spiral staircase, adding warmth and character throughout.

Sleeping arrangements include:

• A main-floor bedroom with a double bed, conveniently located beside a full bathroom

• The three upstairs bedrooms feature:

  • A primary bedroom with a queen bed, pull-out king trundle (or 2 singles), and balcony views of the lake during spring,            fall, and winter (the abundant leaves limit the views in the summer)

  • Middle bedroom with a double bed

  • Third bedroom with another queen bed and a second pull-out king trundle; this bedroom contains a ceiling air-                        conditioning unit

The cottage includes two full bathrooms, along with a bonus outdoor shower — perfect for rinsing off after a sandy beach day.

Guests are asked to bring their own linens, including bedding, bath towels, and beach towels. On-site laundry is available if needed.

The private community beach is just one minute away, accessed by stairs and shared by only a small number of neighbouring cottages, making it feel life your own private space. For those who prefer a walk-out beach, St. Joseph’s Beach is a short two-minute drive. Bayfield and Grand Bend beaches are also nearby, offering even more options and Grand Bend has on-duty life guards during the summer months to increase water safety.

The surrounding area is rich with things to do and see: boutique shopping, local markets, wineries, breweries, marinas, golf courses, splash pads, and a wide variety of excellent restaurants. Grocery stores and the LCBO are only minutes away, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your stay.

Our cottages are pet-friendly upon owner approval — we welcome your furry family members for a small surcharge of $100 per pet (maximum two).

Vista Beach Lake Escape holds a special place in our story as the very first cottage in our family’s cottage journey. Purchased in 2019, it has been thoughtfully rented and lovingly cared for ever since. From the moment we took ownership, the cottage underwent a complete renovation and full makeover, guided by our commitment to quality, comfort, and intentional design. Every detail reflects the pride we take in ownership — from the colour palettes and furnishings to the artwork, décor, and carefully chosen finishing touches throughout the space. Vista Beach Lake Escape was created to feel like a true home away from home, a place where guests can settle in, slow down, and feel genuinely cared for. We are honoured to share our family cottage with others, offering a welcoming retreat where guests can rest, relax, and reconnect — a space designed to help them RENEW, HEAL, & THRIVE - as we believe that the Flourishing Shores of Lake Huron is Where Minds Renew and Shores Heal.
